Well after my test of the side by side OA5 v 4 I Promised the same test on the Osmoa Action 3. ie the 5 v the 3. Both were set to 4K 30FPS and all else on Auto.
Watch on a decent screen and let me know what you think is best. I actually like the OA 3 image better

There is a distinct difference with these two cameras and I certainly would give it to the A5. I think detail is greater colours are more natural and although its got a lower bitrate it preforms better than the A3 with movement and density , why I’m not so sure but its got to be some kind of computation.
I would like sharpness toned down a little, did you record in 10 bit ?

Just watched on a 4k 55" tv and OA5 image quality is definitely better and more detailed .
The colors seems more natural on OA3 , but it's hard to say if OA5 's colors are more saturated , however , imo OA5 wins hands down .

All Auto as out of the Box. I dont tend to mess with any settings

So it’s most likely 8 bit as that is default. I asked because I found 10 bit to be less sharp. Thank you.

I think left (5) looks sharper and most will probably feel that is 'better'.
