I can fly manual, have several "real" FPV drones. The Avata 2 is brand-new and behaves a lot different in comparison, I have not enough experience and trust built with it yet to fly it manually over deep water.

What a great flying location - so scenic!

Yes, it was a heck of a spot!
We were on a 3 day guided tour through the Dolomites with around 28 sports cars and booked a 4th day just for us 4 friends in 3 cars to explore the Dolomites a bit more by ourselves in a more quiet manner. So I tried to plan a trip to some locations that would be nice to drive and perhaps to fly, too. After visiting the Pordoi in heavy rain we reached out for the Fedaia Lake when more and more the rain stopped and the sun got out. And WOW, what a surprise this location was. No tourists around, and the scenery breathtaking. So we put out all 4 drones we took with us, the Neo, the FPV, the Air 3 and the (for me) new Avata 2. It took me a lot of courage to risk a loss of drones just for the experience of flying this location. But as it is with drone flying, no risk, no fun. The adrenalin is part of the equation with drone flying. And boy, the footage is such a reward... Been the best part of the whole 4-day-tour.
