Worst service ever my controller stopped working and had never been dropped device was reported to DJI and was meant to be sent in however my dad passed away and I left this for too many months then when I did they claim it’s my fault the controller malfunctioned and claim the frame of the drone was also crack which it most certainly wasn’t when I packed it up …. Now it’s being treated like a repair and as far as I’m concerned it’s a violation of Australian consumer guarantee law

Not the first one of these “ malfunctioning “ controllers is complained about either.

Next step is to contact the AFCA and lodge a formal complaint for breaching the Australian consumer guarantee law.

It’s disgusting that DJI damage my drone, tell me the controller malfunctioned and it’s out of warranty

My original submission of this fault was many months before. Since that time the death of my dad and my uncle delayed me from sending it.

Further more Australian consumer law dictates even out of warranty due to “malfunction “ which is under a major failure to use the device.

It should legally be replaced the done wasn’t damaged either when sent

I was assured that my sending delay would not be an issue and I was open with customer service about my family tragedy

The decent thing DJI could do it replace the package I bought & im assuming they are still asking me to pay but if this is the case

I will contact AFCA to investigate & resolve the issue
