Well I have owned an Avata 2 for at least 7 months and to be honest have been scared to fly it. I just flew my little Neo FPV and inspired by how good that was I got out the Avata 2 and this is my first flight. I was so easy to fly with the motion controller 3 and goggles 3. Little video below

Very impressive first flight BP.     I'm like a kid with a new toy at Christmas as I would've flown it on day 1.  You showed a lot of self restraint on holding off 7 months.

Ditto.  I might be considered by most as old, but according to family member I never grew up. Peter Pan Effect.   May not be Christmas, but it was a new toy.  Glad delivery service showed up in the morning v. sunset.

First impression of the MC3 was not very positive. Seemed slow and unresponsive v. traditional sticks. Pre-bias against DJI and the MC. Avata2 was my first DJI UAS.  But with time the brain and body adapted.  Now I like for just cruising around taking in the views.  Very relaxing, very intuitive.  Did end up purchasing the FPV RC3 and added a Neo.  Bias has flipped. Thinking about getting rid of my analog non-dji drones.  Neo price point for a digital video system smaller quad is IMHO a value if you already own a compatible DJI controller.  Priced at point where crash and trash will not be as painful v. other DJI UASs.  Seems also to be a very robust quad based on DroneWilder YTube crash testing videos.

Sounds like you are hooked and stoked.  My prediction.  You will be flying your Neo in M mode in the near future. Maybe less than the  7 months the Avata2 sat in storage.

Turned out great with deliver in the morning then.

I subscribe to the theory that we are only as old as we think and do. So I try to stay as active as possible.  I definitely feel much younger than my chronological age.  

Looks better than the Neo, but that is to be expected.
