After purchasing the camera i've noticed that there's no "100-200" or "100-400" auto ISO option in the Action 5 Pro. It's really handy when you want to force camera into low ISO values and get cleaner images (or lower shutter speeds).

I think letting camera choose ISO value between "100-800 (which is current lowest range option)" is a bit too wide. Sometimes I don't want the camera to set ISO higher than 400 for certain reasons.
Plus, it looks like the camera tend to stick to higher ISO values even when the light is intense. With current firmware, it's impossible to let camera stay in ralatively low ISO range. If you wannna stay low, the only option is choosing single value like "100" and that's not flexible enough for some situations.

Those ISO range options existed in the Action 4, why cancelling it in Action 5 i wonder?...

Really wish DJI add these low ISO range options in next firmware.

I agree with you that it should be in the next firmware update. Setting lowest range, bu default to 100-800 in my opinion is to get better result in low light conditions. Low light footage from DJI Action 5 is maybe better than in the other camera, but personaly, I don't need that, and I will prefer to be more natural video in bright light condition. High ISO values are maybe problem with, somtimes, aritificial looking footage in daylight.

I am sure the developer missed it and is already in corrections

I hope so. I often use 100-400 or 200 in order to force blacks down to proper black in certain situations. The only way now is to go over to manual and set it that way.

I would like to see that the camera priorities the lowest ISO value as possible matching the shutter speed value in order to correct expose the frame

I agree! We need a narrow range to mantain low ISO in good daylight. In my case I use the camera for cinematic FPV with ND filters, so I need a ISO range between 100-200 with a SS between 1/200 - 1/8000.
I'd like to follow the 180º rule (60fps 1/120ss) for motion blur, but when you put the footage on Gyroflow these motion blur results in a sort of "shakiness" in certain areas (because in sudden changes of direction the motion blur it's recorded to certain direction but the stabilization goes to another direction to stabilize) and you need to mantain a minimun SS (1/200 to be sure) to have a clean footage.

+1!
Was shocked to see 100-800 range when gopro allows you to set low and high end independently. This makes both photos and video anchor to unnecessary high shutter like 1/1500 while keeping ISO at 300+ on super sunny day. I forced ISO100 and did tests and there is enough unnecessary noise to make this camera very frustrating.
2 solutions here: give us 100, and 100-200 options in Auto mode. OR have AutoShutter in manual mode since then I can force ISO into100.

Perhaps, image is less noisier in the OA5 than OA4 at ISO800 and hence the range expansion. I don't have an OA5 yet but maybe the folks here can input their comments.

ISO100 vs ISO300 is noticeable ammount of noise. Forcing it into ISO100 makes footage almost DSLR like.

Agreed. I got new firmware notification yesterday. And after updating i found out the ISO option is still not there.

But they managed to fix bit rate issue though.

Hopefully they'll fix ISO in the next firmware. Before that, I'm sticking to ISO 100.

Not all of us are lucky enough to have that amount of light all of the time.

DJI have done a rather nice thing on the camera where you can choose ‘daily’ or ‘sports’ setting. That helps to prioritise the shutter, so for ‘daily’ it chooses (if it can) a slightly lower shutter speed, whereas ‘sport’ goes more for a high shutter. That helps with stabilisation.

However, the daily setting still seems to set my ISO close to 300 in sunny weather. If I point up into the sky, it might hit 200.

It’s most likely because the camera is prioritising the shutter for stabilisation. Action cam and all that!!!

The Ace Pro likely does the same kind of thing (I haven’t checked) but they cover it up better by not showing the ISO that it chooses in auto modes. DJI are more open about it and actually, they have a neat manual mode with the indication of exposure right there in the screen for you.

It would be nice to have a more limited set of shutter speeds in the menu though, because at the moment, it’s really very wide (like the ISO choice).

dji has offered 50 min for the Pocket 3, Maybe DJI can match all their cameras  correctly  I bet they  goofed as they created it or simply said no one is really bothering to use it they got  a lot of internal storage for adding it

I totally agree with the dynamic ISO setting fix.

I would like to make one more suggestion here.

Currently, only the highest ISO range can be set.

However, it would be nice if the dynamic ISO minimum and maximum range could be set to the range that the user wants.

In some cases, the lowest ISO range is not 100, but 200 or 400.

For example, ISO 400~800 or 400~1600.

I think it would be really useful if this was also reflected.

An option to set min and max ISO independently would be optimal.
At least let us choose 100 to 400 and 100 to 200 ranges.

After two firmware updates we're still not getting either 100-200 or 100-400 ISO option. What a disappointment.

I'm kinda starting to regret not buying Action 4...

interesting, just took a look at the photo i took 2 weeks ago with the gopro 11, the iso settings were min 100 max 1600, it dropped down to 100 pretty easily.
