When I try to use the mic2 while recording video, I can see from the app that audio is being recorded. However, when I play back the video from either the app or when downloaded to my phone, the audio sounds as though it is speeded up,high pitched and garbled.
I have no problems when recording audio with the mic on my phone.
Everything is updated to the latest firmware.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction!

We apologize for the inconvenience. In Mobile App Control, DJI Neo supports audio recording via DJI Fly. Enter the settings page, tap Camera Settings, then enable audio recording. Allow the microphone permission on your smartphone according to the on-screen instructions. In Mobile App Control mode, audio will be recorded by the corresponding audio recording device while DJI Neo is recording a video. A microphone icon will be displayed on the camera view.

In the meantime, we suggest that you share the audio files with us, so we can better analyze the situation.

I have done some trouble shooting. I used an iPhone to record video from the DJI neo using the DJI fly app and sound on with the DJI mic2 connected to the iPhone via Bluetooth. I then downloaded the video from the DJI neo to the iPhone and the sound was perfect.
So the problem is the DJI fly app on my android phone which is a Samsung galaxy Flip 4 running Android version 14.
I deleted the DJI fly app and downloaded the latest version.
I also updated the firmware on the DJI mic2 and the DJI neo.  Below is a link to a video sample of the problem.

We regret the delay in our response. To export the flight controller aircraft data, kindly follow the instructions below:

(1) Download DJI Assistant 2 from the official website. Download link: https://www.dji.com/downloads
(2) Open DJI Assistant 2. Connect it to the aircraft within 20 seconds of powering on the aircraft.
(3) Once DJI Assistant 2 recognizes the aircraft, select "Log Export" and click "Save to local".
(4) The exported data will be in ".dat" file format.

For App Log Export steps,

For Android devices:

Connect the mobile device used with the aircraft to your PC. The directory is as follows: internal storage/Android/data/dji.go.v5/files/LOG (For versions prior to DJI Fly App V1.4.12, the path is DJI>dji.go.v5>LOG). Export the data from the "LOG" folder.

For iOS devices:

Connect the mobile device used with the aircraft to your PC, open iTunes, and export all data from the "Logs" folder.

Also, please supply the flight control data from the DJI Neo. Utilize DJI Assistant 2 for exporting, as the date of the video shoot is required. For instance, if the video was recorded at 5pm yesterday, export the flight control data corresponding to that time. Accuracy is paramount.

You may use the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) to export aircraft flight controller data. Also called flight controller log, aircraft log, stored in the aircraft, usually when the aircraft has an accident or abnormal performance, the data is needed for DJI to analyze, and the data needs to be connected to the computer to export (via DA2 software).

Kindly follow the steps below:

- Connect the drone to the PC, launch DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) that can be downloaded.

- Choose "Log Export", and then click "Save to local". Select the saved path and wait until download complete.

- After downloading, click “Open in the folder”, and the aircraft flight control data can be found in the folder “EXPORT_FILE_xxx”. Note that there is no need to modify the folder name.

It has now been 2 weeks since I provided the flight data to you.
When will this problem be solved ???
I have paid hundreds of dollars and the DJ mic2 does not work over Bluetooth with the DJI Neo on my Android device.
Please help !!!!
Do not give me more instructions on how to send flight data when I have already sent it to you.
Just tell me when this problem will be fixed.
I am going on holiday in a couple of weeks and need a fix.

I have the same issue, with my Samaung S23 ultra and std S23 the voice is sped up , souding like chipmunks. On my Samsung A73 is works perfectly.

I have the latest firmware and software installed on all devices including the mic 2

Gents, I have just got the mic mini and it works perfectly with the neo through my phone. I thought I'd try the mic 2 again and for some reason it is now recording audio perfectly. I've not done any further updates so I've no idea what the issue was but just thought you ought to know.
