I don't know how practical this is but just a thought...
It would be nice in the app to have a forced take-off option. That's to say, to disable the usual tilt sensor and just run the motors anyway.
The reason for this is the possibility for the Neo to get stuck in a tree or on a tilted roof. In this situation it can be impossible to retrieve the drone, and so having something like this might jiggle the drone loose and get it on to the ground. I'm aware that it might be impossible for the drone to achieve stable flight in this situation, but even crashing to the ground and possibly getting damaged can sometimes be preferred to being out of reach and so lost forever. It would be even nicer if the motors can be made to turn backwards to try to flip over an inverted drone but that's probably too much to ask for.
I have no idea how possible this is, but maybe something like this can save a few people's drones...
