I have been flying DJI drones since the Spark days but have never tried FPV before acquiring the NEO. This was my 4th flight flying the NEO with Googles 3 and the Motion Controller 3. The experience has been just so great, so fun! It is incredibly immersive and so intuitive. it's quickly become my favourite way of flying with the versitile little NEO.
I have been tempted in the past by the DJI FPV, Avata and Avata 2 drones but cost and flight restrictions made me hesitate. The advantage of flying the NEO in Canada, where I live, is due to it being under 250 grams, I don't require a spotter to maintain visual line of sight (VLOS) while flying with the googles. That is a VERY big deal to me and gives me much more freedom to fly.
I shot everything in 4K/30 auto exposure. I locked in my white balance at 6000K. No ND filters. I did dial in -1 EV to compensate for the dark water, which was causing it to over expose. I am still building skill so I wanted to keep things simple, capture some nice footge and just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
As always, thanks for watching!
PS Sorry for the noisy audio. Tough to capture clean audio with a noisy smelter messing it up.

would be nice if DJI will let us download the unstabilisez video file from the drone in the future updates.
It's kind of interesting because if I am using the Goggles 3, I can select the 4:3 aspect ratio, which turns off EIS. I can also select 4:3 aspect ratio in the DJI Fly app when flying in "app control" mode, which should also automatically turn off EIS. If I use the RC 2 controller, there is no option to switch to 4:3 aspect ratio.
I kind of expect the option with the Goggles but the app control doesn't totally make sense to me.
Is this something DJI has yet to implement or is it by design? Hard to know.
4:3 gyro-data video should be DEFCON1 priority for future updates AT LEAST in RC Mode, ideally on Mobile App Control and Palm Control as well.
Gyroflow stabilization doesn't worth much on the Avata 2 over Rocksteady (besides flexibility and better straighten horizon), but it does wonders on the Neo compared to the crappy Rocksteady implementation.

I would like to see feature parity, as much as possible or makes sense, across all the control methods.
Poor Neo just doesn't have the processing chops for a decent RockSteady implementation - haha! :-)
