Helo friends
I need help.I have DJI AIR3..I have no orignal DJI 100W/65W charger so i use a 45W third party charger so i noted my AIR3 batteries charging slow ..
Main thing is that my Batteries drain fastly and nearly reach at last cell in just approximately 25 minutes(DJI CLAIM PER CHARGE BATTERY TIME ARE 43 MINS)
Hi there. We recommend you follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Check whether your battery level changes suddenly (the battery level change can be checked in the DJI Fly app). For example, the battery level changes from 80% to 30% suddenly. If there is such a change, we recommend that you sent your product to local agent for testing.
2. Check whether a foreign object (such as a propeller guard) has been mounted onto the aircraft. If so, the takeoff weight will increase, which will increase power consumption. It is normal for the maximum flight time to be shortened. In general , after the propeller guards are mounted in the same environment, the battery life will be reduced by 1/3.
3. If the maximum flight time is shorter than the one noted on the DJI official website by 1/3 when the battery has a lower cycle count and the aircraft is not flying forcedly in an environment with appropriate temperature and wind, please send your product to local agent for testing.
(1) The maximum flight time 46 minutes claimed on the DJI official website is measured when the aircraft is flying at 28.8 kph in windless conditions (25°C) from taking off with a full battery level to the time when the aircraft triggers a low battery warning and automatically lands on the ground. However, during actual flight, due to environmental limitations (temperature, wind power, and air pressure), aircraft speed, and other factors, the maximum flight time may be decreased to different levels.
Reason for environmental factors affecting the maximum flight time:
Temperature: In a low-temperature environment, the battery's discharging performance becomes weaker, which will shorten the maximum flight time. A high-temperature environment will affect the cell endurance. When the aircraft is used frequently in a high-temperature environment, the maximum flight time will be affected, and the cell is likely to be damaged.
Wind power: In a windy environment, the aircraft needs to increase the power for wind resistance. As such, the motor output power is increased, the load current is increased, and the battery level consumption is increased.
Air pressure: (The air pressure in the test environment is similar to the air pressure value at sea level.) The air pressure is low in the high attitude area, and thin air causes higher motor load and load current, which results in greater power consumption.
(2) If the battery cycle count is larger, the battery capacity is decreased due to cell damage. It is normal for the maximum flight time to be shortened. The specific battery level is still affected by the flight environment and flight mode. If you are concerned about battery malfunction, please send your product to local agent for testing. |
