How can you be so ignorant you have already said umpteen times on this forum that video at 4k 60fps needs 130mbps , but now you say for the A5 100mbps 4k 60fps works well at 100mbps. Everything you say seems to be made upo BS that doesn’t add up in any way. But one things is for sure correct. You have tried to knock and denigrate every single dji product that they have ever released trolling this forum immediately after every release A5 is crap Air3s is Crap Air3 is crap air2s doesn’t use the full sensor, Mini 1/2/3/4 is crap Osmo POCKET WILL BE RECALLED !!!.

When I asked DJI if it was Genuine 50 MP sensor, or 'effective 50 MP using quad bayer', they came back stating it was Genuine 50 Mp that can also be used as a 12 Mp sensor.

So I'm kind of left wondering what's right

Look at the specs.  They call it an 50 mp EFFECTIVE PIXELS but it's a 12 mb sensor.  If it were 50 native you wouldn't need a switch to pick 50 mp in photos.

Again this is photo size not video , in fact it would be ridiculous to ignore the large 12mp sensor designed specifically to enhance the video produced by the air3s. Yep, and as mentioned, the word 'effective' is used for pretty much ALL dji drones including the Mavic 3 Pro.  
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything here, just A, stating what DJI told me directly and B, stating what the specs are shown as.

It simple when I insert my card to my computer photoshop picks up all files and converts lossless which is a dead giveaway as to the size of a file. But photos are edited not by the file size but the mega pixels .

You also tell us we need an anti Aliasing filter, yet none on the any M3 none even back as far as Phantom 4P, none on pocket 3 which you said would be recalled and just turned out to be djis second biggest selling product ever….

No I didn’t clown, I posted a file not edited in any way shape or form nothing added or taken away , its not like I added anything to the file, its just PS opens the lossless file complete not compressed exactly like it does with M3p. You really haven’t a clue . I think people continually posting great works great photos is really getting to you because these are genuine users who can fly and use their drones to get the most out of them. Because at this point, you do not have 130 mbps in any video, as the so called 130mbps in slow motion in fact technically is a ~35mbps 30fps video...

So, practically, the AIR 3S is rated as:
MAX 90 MBPS, in 4k DLOGM/HLG

Think this video shows just how good small details show un on air3s and considering the downgrading from uploading to YT and then here it truly is excellent from the tiniest moving people to detail in the shadows in low light. More BR may come but it certainly is not needed for this video. Best watch is highest resolution on YT.

That is sad, and this will influence the amount of units sold, the faster DJI will roll out an update with a toggle for CBR/Quality the more units will sell, the ball is fully on the DJI side to get more units out.

Owning the A5 and having had a Firmware update to higher bitrate there is almost no noticeable change except much higher data files . I guarantee if dji were losing sales something would be done but it’s not guaranteed that it would make any difference but you will have much larger files.

Ive seen it , but I’m using the A5 most days including FPV the difference is negligible and many verified this on forum here, and some only using standard rate because you get longer battery smaller files and no noticeable difference. I would also hazard a guess that vloggers will use lower bitrate because of smaller faster files. In fact on FPV it is better to use standard than high bitrate IMO, and further more it was only increased by minimal amount. The video on here shows a total of all new FW introduced the bitrate was not responsible for brighter vibrant colours that can be achieved with lower bitrate.
Certainly using the Air3s the detail is excellent night footage is really good, yes detail is not the best but it is as good as any 1” sensor drone Ive owned better than Mavic 2 Air2s and air3 so an improvement. It’s so much better than M2P bitrate 100 better than Air2s 150mbps so yes something going on creating more details.
