Having a couple of really frustrating problems with the Neo.

If it is following me and I stop to wait for it with my arm outstretched on a number of occasions it just doesn't come back to me. Then I have to get out the phone, go to manual controls and guide it down. All of which wastes valuable battery power.

Anyone else having this issue?

And also can anyone advise the procedure switching from Mobile control to RC N3 remote control?  Is it a case of powering the drone off and then reconnecting as I've been unable to switch seamlessly between controls?

Thanks

Hi there,

Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing.
1. When you finish the shooting and stop moving, DJI Neo will hover. When DJI Neo is hovering in place, approach it, extend your arm, then straighten your palm below it.
2. Keep your palm straightened horizontally and still, and wait until DJI Neo detects your palm and lands automatically.

Note: DJI Neo may perform palm landing when one of the following conditions is met while hovering:
(1) The ToF altitude suddenly drops from 2 m to 20 cm or lower.
(2) A palm is detected within 20 to 70 cm from the drone.

If you are switching to Mobile App Control, make sure that the drone has been previously connected to the mobile phone via Wi-Fi. If you want to use a remote controller without a screen, make sure that the remote controller has been previously linked with the drone and is kept within 3 m of the drone. You can refer user manual page 75 for the process.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!

Ive had a similar issue after a circle where it stopped at a height of 10ft, seems its not intuitive enough to drop down to a level of 6ft or so.

Is the drone linked to the controller already, if so then i guess if its in wifi mode you should be able to kill the wifi connection and then just plug the controller into the phone, i'll give it a try later
