Interesting and a bit entertaining presentation.
Home is along the Southshore of L. Superior in WI. Tourist based economy. Not looking forward to the the selfie drones walking around town. A few years ago some fool was flying down the main street in town videoing their vacation. Neighbor was enjoying a cold drink on the deck of a Lake side restaurant and wanted to swat the drone as it hovered over him. Just gave the drone the middle finger salute. He like many up here dislike drones. Encounters like what happens doesn't help. He knows I fly drones. We are still friends. Told him it's a possible felony if you down a drone. Also told him there has been drone privacy legislation for a few years. Part of Chapter 942 Crimes Against Reputation, Privacy, and Civil Liberties. 942.10 specifically address UASs. Drone operator if found guilty can be charged with a Class A misdemeanor. Problem is local law enforcement is a bit clueless and location of the drone operator was unknown.
Hopefully a flock of Neos shadowing their users will never happen. If so, the town will probably do what they have done in the past with other "pests". City wide ban on all drones. Not sure if there even are any townies that fly UASs.
