Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, so I'm not sure if I'm putting it in the right place, so please let me know if I should post elsewhere.

I was shooting an interview using the DJI Mic set. I was using two wireless transmitters which were recording internally. I was only using the receiver to monitor the audio through headphones. About five minutes into the interview the receiver locks up and plays a loud alarm through the headphones. I had to force powerdown the device and restart it. Afterwards it worked, but I am very concerned it could happen again.

The receiver was fully charged
The receiver was only connected to headphones, nothing else
The transmitters continued to record fine

I am using the latest fireware: 02.00.72.87

Has anyone had this problem? What steps should I take to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I cannot provide a video or audio recording as this issue has only happened once and I have not replicated it. The sound that came through my headphones was a loud high pitched tone. The receiver would not shut off when this happened. The sound was not coming from either transmitter, as I shut them down while this was happening.

What would be helpful to me is if you could let me know if someone has experienced/reported a similar issue. I'm not sure if this could mean I have a faulty unit.

Hi there, thank you for the clarification and we truly understand your concern. Currently, we haven't received any reports of similar cases. If the issue occurs again, the best course of action would be to return the device for a complete inspection.

You may submit the repair request here : {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}. If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support. We understand that this is not the answer that you look forward to, but this would be the best thing to do in this situation. In addition, warranty service can be claimed depending on the result of the Damage Assessment.

Your kind understanding is appreciated and thank you for your continued support.
