Hi DJi Friends,

@DJI Mindy  @DJI Support @DJI Natalia

I'm still flying the magnificent DJI Spark (even though its vintage).
What i understand is DJI Go 4 is the only app that supports the Spark.

The DJI GO 4 app downloaded from DJI site is not allowed for installation in Android mobile.
Could you please send me the solution to fix for the 'DJI Go 4' app?

My phone : Samsung S24 Ultra , using Android v14,

If not DJI Go 4 , what app can be used for my SPARK's Flight ?

Kindly assist me
Many thanks in advance

Cheers
Roney

HI there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble caused. May I confirm the DJI App that you're trying to install? Also, try the following steps and see it that helps :

1. Go to the mobile phone’s “System Settings” and find “Installing an Unknown Application”. Enable the “Allow application installation from this source” switch.
2. Check the mobile phone’s internal storage, and clear its cache. The remaining memory must be greater than 2GB.
3. If there is Google Play installed on this phone, please disable "Google Play Protect"
4. If the “Installing an Unknown Application” setting has been enabled, please back up the photos and videos. Uninstall the earlier version of the app and then restart the mobile phone. Download and install the app from the DJI official website.

Keep us posted the outcome and thank you for your understanding!

After i installed the app - connecting to the spark , i am getting "Gimbal overloaded" and other times "No GPS signal"  message.
The lights below the drone - showing these different colours (as attached in the image).

I tried the resolution mentioned here - but no change to the error.

HI there, thank you for sharing the picture . Please restart the device and re-upgrade the firmware. If the issue still persists after several attempts,  the best course of action would be to submit an online repair request here: {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}. If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support. We understand that this is not the answer that you look forward to, but this would be the best thing to do in this situation. In addition, warranty service can be claimed depending on the result of the Damage Assessment.

Your kind understanding is appreciated and thank you for your continued support.

Hi RoneyR,

As for the Gimbal  Overload message, you should remove the gimbal protect thingy before powering up the drone.

HTH,
Wolferl
