First time I've switched out of P-mode and into A-mode and it was quite an exciting experience - so much so can you become an A-mode junkie?

Yes, I know what you mean and it is good for you!  I have three batteries now and I always try to fly at least one battery in atti mode.

I SOOO need to do this!  My non A mode skills are pretty good so I think it's time to take the plunge!!!!

Too much wind in my part of the country to fight atti mode very much.  I've done it, but it isn't fun.  Fully flyable, but not enjoyable.

I love A-mode.

I love A-Mode too! Especially with a bit of wind. I like to see how fast I can get the bird going with the wind!
