Hello!

Has anyone else had problems with the Micro SD in the Mini 4 Pro? Mine will not recognize that the card is inserted about 9/10 times while flying. Occaisionally it will be recognized and then immediately will say storage full and not allow any sort of recording. If the card ever does show up as available, it never does after the drone is powered of and then back on. The card has been formatted and is able to be read on a computer, and is brand new, so I am quite certain that this isn't the issue.

What kind of microSD card do you use? I have experienced that unless you use the "correct" card, you may get problems.  I am only using Sandisk Extreme Pro after I had some issues with a Samsung card that should have had the same specifications, but the DJI product seems to be picky on what cards you can use.

I am using the Sandisk ImageMate Pro, which is supposedly the same as the Extreme Pro, but only sold by one company as opposed to the Extreme Pro sold by everyone else. All the specifications are the same between the two.

That might be the issue.  I would at least try either Sandisk Extreme Pro or any of the SD cards that DJI approve.  As I told you, the one that failed for me (on my RC 2 - the screen froze and the drone force landed when i was doing audio recording with Mic 2 at the same time as doing screen recording).  That SD card apparently had the same specifications.

Cards can fail or be flakey.
Always try another card.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

After trying 3 different cards, I am still getting the same error. What process should I go through to replace the drone, or resolve the issue?

It will not allow me to upload a video as the format is not supported, but I have some images of the drone and the controller.

Hopefully you can see that the sd card is inserted and that it reads no SD card, even through the out of focus shot.

Thank you for providing the necessary information. There are a few possible causes to this issue, which are:

1. The microSD card is not compatible with the aircraft.
2. The microSD card is damaged.
3. The microSD card cannot be recognized as the aircraft port is damaged.

To resolve this issue, we highly recommend using the microSD card, please refer to List of Recommended Storage Cards for Drones. For the Mini 4 Pro, you may refer the following.

• SanDisk Extreme PRO 32GB V30 U3 A1 microSDHC
• Lexar 1066x 64GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Lexar 1066x 128GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Lexar 1066x 256GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Lexar 1066x 512GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Kingston Canvas GO! Plus 64GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Kingston Canvas GO! Plus 128GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC
• Kingston Canvas React Plus 64GB V90 U3 A1 microSDXC
• Kingston Canvas React Plus 128GB V90 U3 A1 microSDXC
• Kingston Canvas React Plus 256GB V90 U3 A1 microSDXC
• Samsung EVO Plus 512GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC

Besides that, please try to install the microSD card to another device and see if the microSD card can be read normally. If not, use another microSD card. If yes, please take out the microSD card, back up the required information, format the microSD card, reset the camera parameters of the aircraft, and then insert it into the aircraft again.

Lastly, you can try to format the MicroSD Card via DJI Fly. Formatting the MicroSD Card via DJI Fly. In the camera view, tap the System Settings icon at the upper right corner of the screen, enter “Camera” and tap “Format”. We hope this helps. Thank you!
