How do we know when updates come out for this? Do we have to constantly plug in the unit to check?  There was one I didn't know about recently.  Can you post them here please?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. The latest firmware version for DJI Power 1000 is v01.00.07 which released on 29th Sep 2024. You may check the recent firmware version through the release note in DJI website at :

Also, to update the firmwar you're required to use DJI assistant 2 . You may follow the steps below to update the firmware and if there's new firmware release, you may also check using DA2.  

To update the firmware :
1. While the device is powered off, press and hold the AC button and power button until “LOAD” is prompted at the lower right corner of the screen.
2. Connect the computer to the USB-C port located at the power icon position.
3. To perform a firmware update on DJI Power 1000 with a rated voltage of 100V/120V, it is necessary to connect the power bank to the mains using the AC power cable provided in the package.
4. Run DJI Assistant 2, select the related product, and tap “Firmware Update” on the left side of the main interface.
5. Select and confirm the firmware version that needs to be updated. Carefully read the important prompts on the software, and click to update the firmware. DJI Assistant 2 will automatically download and transfer the firmware.
6. After the firmware transfer is completed, the device will automatically proceed with the update of each module. The progress of the update will be displayed on the screen. Please wait patiently. The power bank will restart automatically after the firmware update is done.

Hello there, I got my DJI P1000, the Powerextension 2000 and the Dongle. I upgraded all over Assistent 2 to 1.00.15. sucefully. No when I try to oben the DJI Home App, it connects and immediately try to make a firmware update and the APP get stuck there. Please help!

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble caused. Kindly try the below troubleshooting steps and see if that helps :
1. If the device is powered on, shut it down. If unable to shut down, press and hold for 5 seconds to force a shutdown.
2. To enter firmware update mode, press and hold the AC button while simultaneously holding the power button when the device is turned off.
3. Try to update the firmware via DJI Assistant 2. If the app is stuck, kindly uninstall the app and re-install it from the DJI official website at { https://www.dji.com/global/power-1000/downloads }.

Update versus Assistant 2 works fine. I try to reinstall the App. By the way what is the up to date firmware for DJI Power? The change log text is not updated. Best Andreas
