Still 2020, they were moving a lot of soil to make room for the foundations and get other parts of the area up to the desired height.

This was a nice process to document.

Very impressive series of shots Peter.    That topdown really gives you an idea of how large that project was.  I'm guessing the people in that big house next to the lot were glad when that project was complete as it had to be noisy and dusty for them.

Yeah, they were, although they did try to stop this development, as this area sits quite a bit higher than the old area. (hence all the soil being moved to the edge)
So their view would be completely blocked.

A bit of a minor compromise it seems to appease the existing home owner.

Only the few that are directly opposite to the existing buildings....
So it looks a bit weird with a couple of houses having only 2 floors.

Yeah, they had to bring some parts up to a certain height and could use the soil from the foundation hole for that.
