Thank you. I am doing a website for a paving company. They did some of the asphalt paving  there. Hopefully this will help them identify which lots they did.

Turned on the TV to catch today's weather and had to channel surf to find one that wasn't yapping about the election and who was leading, etc.  I finally turned it off and just checked the weather online.

There's lots of chatter out there about post election riots, etc.  Hopefully, that doesn't happen but these days you just never know.

I am a believer that the Politicians needed to see America's anger around the Capital. I think that some of them need to think twice about what they can and can't get away with.  Remember it's our Capitol.

I personally think that with term limits there would be no more squatting in an office for 30, 40 or 50 years. No way did the framers of the US Constitution intend to have career politicians.  I bet they wanted people from all walks of life who could serve for a short period of time and come home to live under the laws they made. They wanted rotation in office and term limits would accomplish it. It would deliver fresh faces and ideas.

Washington is currently run in a top-down structure where seniority equals influence. Even if we vote in better members, they are still buried under the power of the leaders of the House and Senate.  

I believe that right now members are only thinking about how to get re-elected and by pandering to special interests. They spend more time fundraising than doing their jobs. Term limits would change this culture and make members focused on solving problems.

Now if we could only get the incumbents to vote for term limits it would be a huge win and step forward for political reform.  Will never happen with all the career politicians in place to keep it from ever coming up for a vote.
