I've had my Mini3Pro for almost 2.5 years now, and in all that time the props have not been replaced.
During a flight yesterday, I clipped an obstacle, but the drone continued to fly, and returned home faithfully.
Whereupon I saw that 1/3rd of a blade was missing, and the orange tip of another was askew.
Knowing that I would be incapable of effecting such fiddly repairs myself, I entrusted the work to Mrs.B
Clearly, the gentle touch and steady hands of a woman are what is needed, for with no difficulty at all
(and me watching apprehensively) she replaced two sets of props in short order (30 minutes).
This, using the DJI SUPPLIED  SCREWDRIVER. No damage or distortion to screws or driver.
A quick test flight around the living room (since it's raining AGAIN) assured us that all is well.
I'm informed that it will cost me a nice lunch in a restaurant of her choice.   BARGAIN!!

Cool story and I hope Mrs. B opts for a 5 Star restaurant for her lunch.

I never got a DJI supplied screwdriver with my drone kit.  However, I have a Wowstick that works wonders with those tiny drone screws.  I always make sure there isn't an overabundance of loctite on the replacement screws before I put them in.  However, I do prefer the easy on/off of the pros on the Air 2S and Air 3 drones much better.

I'm sure they'll be fine - and we checked again after this morning's indoor flight.

She's earned the 5* treat, for sure

At least youve found a solution to it.    Did you get all 4 pairs changed out?

Only 3 props were damaged on two arms.  So 2 pairs were replaced.

I don't blame you for doing follow up checks just to make sure the screws are securely in place still.

Well done Mrs B.

Twist and bend the other to pairs to check for cracks. They can be very hard to spot at times.

Hi there, we're sorry to hear what happened with your drone and we're glad that it got fixed. May I confirm if the aircraft works fine ?

Also, just a friendly reminder that DJI does not recommend your 3rd party accessories on your DJI product or modify your DJI product. These 3rd party accessories might affect the DJI drone when in use and there is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able to work. However, since it's not yet optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guarantee the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might damage the said DJI product and can void the warranty of your DJI Drone as well. Thank you.

I hope this helps with your concern. Thank you for your support and have a nice day ahead.

Hi DJI Natalia. Thanks for your concern.
The props used in the repair were those supplied with the drone, by DJI, at the time of purchase of the drone.  That was not the issue.
Once the props were replaced, a short (indoor) test flight was conducted without problems.
Once the persistent rain here relents, I shall carry out further tests outdoors - but I am confident that there will be no issues.  In all other respects, the drone is undamaged and still works as it should.

If you like it, you can actually change your user name in the settings to Mr.B (if it hasn't been taken already)

That's one of my pre-flight check items but to be honest I usually only put my wowstick on them to amke sure they are tight every couple of flights instead of every flight.  However, I do give them a good eyeball inspection prior to every flight.

Regular pre-flight checks help prevent unwelcome surprises, but once the props become damaged, however slightly, it's wise to replace them. On the larger drones I've had, replacement has been far easier ( just press and twist), but those on the Mini3Pro are so small and lightweight, with such fiddly little screws, that replacement is far from straightforward.

The twist doesn't apply to your drone (Mini3) only the larger (Mavic) drones with larger quick-release rigid props.

For the money they are great. Just try no to scratch the lenses.
