Noise, battery and if your mid flight and you need to turn it on, then you have to faff with menus etc to get it on, one tap would be a nice life improvement. Especially as the new cheap box goggles are getting it.

You'll get, "Thank you for your suggestion we will contact the relevant.........etc etc". Just maybe, somebody might run with it...........then again........

I would replace double tap to activate the cameras by defog! the cameras are very pointless, I oftenly just activate them by mistake
They could give us the option, one, two or three taps and what they do, just like we can customise the C1 and C2 buttons on the controllers.
