The Mini 4 Pro and the RC-2 controller support the 04 radio transmission protocol from DJI. Drones with O4 can for the first time use six independent antennas, of which the four antennas with the strongest signal are operated in the 4T2R principle (4 receivers, 2 transmitters).

With a firmware update, the Integra goggles were made capable of working with the Mini 4 pro. If you look at the technical data of the Integra, the O3+ protocol is specified there.
After this update, does the Integra now also work with O4 in conjunction with the Mini 4 pro, or which protocol is used?

How (which type of radio transmission) is the Motion Controller 2 connected to the drone and the goggles?

I would be happy to get more technical information here.
Especially because the Goggles 3 supports O4 and it is therefore possible to use the RC-2 controller.

Thank you for the answer,

but the chatbot may not have realized that by O4 I mean the wireless transmission protocol (also known as Occusync 4) and not a new product that doesn't exist yet.

Otherwise it would be worrying if DJI itself didn't know about its own technology.

Hi The Ollie,

Thank you for your patience. We have check with the relevant team on this matter. The Integra goggles and Mini 4 Pro still use the older O3+ transmission standard, rather than the newer O4. This means the Mini 4 Pro is compatible with older O3 and O3+ devices, and the Motion 2 also uses O3+ to connect to the Mini 4 Pro. I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!

Thank you for your answer.

But this means that the Mini 4 pro has to be also compatible with the O4 transmission standard to connect with the RC-2. Depending on whether the integra or the RC-2 is connected to the Mini4 pro, the mini 4 pro switches from O3/O3+ to O4.
And the RC-2 can only run O4, so that downward compatibility is not possible?
But in this case I ask myself, why it is possible to connect the Mini 3 pro the integra and the RC-2 together with this workaround?

Hello Gamora,

are there any news according my question?

Thank you for your patience. The mini 3 pro doesn't allow connection to RC-2, if you are getting error message prompt could you confirm where are getting the error info from? Please send us a video recording of the problem. This will allow us to investigate further and provide you with the most accurate solution based on the specific issue you're encountering.

Kindly take note, only drones which are backward compatible, such as air3, avata2, mini 4 pro using O4 are compatible with goggles using O3.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!
