We've had our Ronin since January and it's been fantastic. However mid-shoot last week it spasmed out, spinning around the pan axis violentely. I had to stop it with my body and since then it's been utterly broken. A lot of the time it simply doesn't turn on (in turns of motors powering up) and when it does it's extremely erratic, either spinning, jerking, and generally flinging the camera all over the place.

I've spent the best part of the today trying everything; resetting everything to default, calibrating, tuning, downgrading firmware, upgrading again, testing every setting etc.

When it's "operational" the thing that seems to kill it is the roll motor. For example I can test the pan and tilt motors via the app fine, but as soon as I test roll it goes one way first and then when it's going back all the motors turn off and it dies.

Help appreciated.
