When custom preset 1 is saved with 'Continous' as the focus mode then custom preset 2 is saved with 'Product Showcase' as the focus mode, both presets load with 'Product Showcase' as the focus mode. Why is it required to set 'Continous' as the focus mode for preset 1 and save it a second time?

That sounds weird. As if the focus mode is not stored.

True, my Mini 3 Pro keeps forgetting the photo mode last used.
