Looking to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Just a week ago I purchased the DJI MIC 2 (2 TX 1RX + Charging case) and without fail every 2nd or 3rd video has completely zero audio. Unfortunately I found this out after a weekend of filming to come back and only half of my videos have sound.
I've tried a number of things which I'll list below but it's strangely consistent. For the videos that have audio, the audio is great.

I'm using it with a Samsung S10 with the RX connected via USB-C. I suspect the S10 is my issue, and I simply need a newer phone, but I'm trying to explore all options before I do that.
Things I've tried that have made no change:
  • Ensure RX USB-C adaptor is attached correctly + remove and reattach.
  • Restarting phone and test.
  • Restarting TX's & RX's.
  • Putting TX's & RX's back in charging case between video.
  • Lastest firmware update on TX & RX.
  • Adjustment on gain for all.
  • A few settings on the RX, but have tried to not change much as I'm new to these and not completely familiar with all the settings.
  • Other camera apps downloaded onto the S10.

Things I've tried that have made some change:
  • Tried DJI MIC 2 with iPhone 15 with USBC connection. This works fine which immediately suggests I just need a newer phone.
  • DJI RX connected to S10 headphone jack using Rode sc7 cable - Works fine.
  • PRO Video mode in Samsung (and some other modes) - This is the biggest breakthrough I've had and my work around for now. These work fine, no audio loss so far with testing but I am limited in some ways (pro video for instance can't use the selfie camera).

After a few days of thoroughly searching for anyone with a similar issue I haven't found anything. I will very likely take the plunge on a Samsung S24 in the coming months but I'm trying to avoid it for now.

While the Pro Video or other modes on the S10 can be a suitable workaround, I would really love to use the regular camera setting. So if anyone has experienced a similar or same situation, or has a solution, I would love to hear it.

Cheers

Did you know that you can set it so that a backup audio file is recorded directly to the individual transmitters?

Hi, cheers for the response. Aware of being able to do that as a backup, but first and foremost trying to ensure the audio is being added to the video as it records.
