I will be hiking in the wilderness, and taking my DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ with me.  I'd love to use the map program to program out some courses, but I won't be able to download any data at the time as I'll be out of cell phone range.  Any work-arounds for this?  Is it possible to pre-load maps of the wilderness where I'll be?

Yes, you can cache the maps prior to entering a no cell service area.

Tahoe Ed posted this to a similar question on RCgroups:

"Open the Vision App. Make sure you are connected to your home wifi. Open the camera. Swipe left to open the GS, Ground Station, portion of the App. You will see a map. Enlarge the map until you get to the area you will be flying in. Continue to enlarge and move about the flying area to get the greatest detail. When you get to where you are flying, turn on the Tx and the wifi extender, connect your device to the wifi extender network, open the App. Start you Phantom and wait until you have GPS lock and camera picture. Swipe to the left and the map that you cached should be available to you."

Thanks Tahoe Ed!
