Great shot DA.    Nice to see the sun out and shining down on the castle.  That is one very colorful kite.

Back to fog and drizzle this morning.   But at least we had that.

Kind of fits that saying "if you don't like the weather now come back in 30 minutes and it will have changed."  You'll just have to make the best of the good days, especially with winter weather not too far off.

Just took the Avata out for a flight as it was calm,  but I got down to the river and really didnt feel like it,  so I decided todays not the day for that.

I can certainly understand that.  A couple of times the water nearby me was calm but by the time I got my 22 footer out to the break water it was very windy and rough.

You often see them in the tops of those bushes around the castle where they come done and get snagged.

It's been common to spot them since then,   not as common as the tents.

No,  I always keep my distance from kites,   too risky for me.

I don't mind getting closer to other drones,  but the strings are invisible on these things,    I nearly had a bad ending with a telephone wire the other week,    looked very close as I sailed over the top of it.

Yeah, I remember one occasion where I flew in between wires I completely missed.
