Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

Have 2x Phantom 3 Advanced units. When I fly them using my iPad Air and have video set to 2.7k, the live feed breaks up and looses signal
real quick, lag, horrible lines, the works...

If I change the video recording to 1080p, its all dandy...

Took me a while to figure out it was the 2.7k causing it

I have seen the same thing and posted about it earlier. I think the video processor is maxed out on the Advanced when running at 2.7K. Make sure you have video caching off as well and i use hardware decode on.

Running iOS 8.4.1, so it's not 9.  Tried video caching off and hardware decode on, no luck... can't fly the thing using 2.7k recording... pity

Having the same issue with my iPhone 6. Video 2.7k feed is laggy.

Flying a P3A with an iPhone 6s Plus and with an iPad Pro 9.7.  Both have a faster processor and I have no lagging at all. I guess it takes too much processing power to handle 2.7k on slower iOS devices?

But it's not sending a 2.7k feed to the device... Maybe it's the P3 itself; it struggles to encode/record the 2.7k file and keep up with the Lightbridge transmission?

I too get really laggy video at 2.7k - never thought of switching back to 1080 to see what it's like; will try that later...

Strange, since no matter whetheryou choose 1080p or 2.7K, the video feed you see on your device should be 720P.

The only explanation is that the data size of the transmission between RC and plane increases if you choose to shoot in a higher resolution. Then it consumes more processing power for your iPad to convert 2.7K into 720P than from 1.8P to 720P, hence the lagging.

Anyone with Android devices shooting in 2.7K?
