I definetly want to buy the new Goggles N3 for use with my Neo. I also must buy the Motion Controller or the FPV Controller.
I sure want to do some nice flying above the water. I know the Neo is not preffered to fly above water without controller and even not with the normal controller. People say, that can only be done when flying in manual.

Can I fly manual with both controllers or just with the FPV Controller?

FPV Controller is needed to fly manual mode.

Yes to the OP questions.

$229, but out of stock at the DJI USA Store and sounds like more or less everywhere else.  Interesting lower priced option to the Goggles3. Relative to other digital video system goggles a very good price point.  Probably will introduce more people into the DJI ecosystem.  Hook them with the Neo. Reel them in with the N3. Potential future 04 UAS sales. Avata2 Fly More kit was what pushed me into the DJI world.  A year ago I wouldn't even consider a DJI product.  Thinking about the N3 if ever needing to replace the Goggles3. Spec at the store website. Basically just a lower level G3. Screen, lack of diopter correction and IP adjuster. The G3 camera I find not needed. But, 2T4R (2 transmission, 4 receiving) antenna system.  Good to see at least in the USA like the Neo available as a standalone product.

In Manual mode on the FPV RC3 you can set the center sensitivity, max rates, and expo to your needs. Also, you can toggle the ATTI mode to be active when starting to fly manual mode. Sticks position still acts like  manual mode in it sets the rate of movement. Will limit your pitch and roll angles preventing you from complete rolls and loops until you feel the need.

Have you downloaded a simulator?

So, we can not use the googles for regular flights on the NEO unless we buy another remote aside from the RCN2 remote? I just want to use goggles and fly regular. Not FPV acro.
