When I fly my Neo with Goggles 3 and Motion controller, the direction circle is never aligned with the cross. The circle is always left to the cross. Any idea to solve??

In the Menu under one of the categories the sub menu has an option to toggle on or off the center cross. Maybe just toggling it off and on might recenter the cross if it is off center.  If the MC3's center circle is off maybe reentering it by fix your problem. IIRC, you just press the rotary dial once.  Haven't used the MC3 for awhile.  Don't remember if there is a calibration option for the controller.  If there is. Another possible option to fix the off aligned icons.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

It is advisable to attempt flying in an open area to determine if the issue can be isolated. If the issue persists, please let us know.

I made another video flying in an open field at sunset and with a wind speed of 2 m/s.
In this case the direction indicator circle was also left to the center cross when flying straight forward.
Please note that the direction indicator circle moves left as soon as I press the accelerator.

When flying the Avata 2 there is no issue at all. See the video below.

I am wondering if there is some sort of calibration you can do

I have tried all sorts of calibration of the Neo, Goggles and Motion Controller. Have tried downgrading the firmware in Neo and Goggles - and upgraded again. Nothing helps.

I just made a little video where the Neo is hovering, and I continually press and release the accelerator on the Motion Controller. Each time I press the accelerator the direction circle moves to the left.

I have made all possible calibrations on the Neo, the Motion controller and the Goggles. And even refreshed the firmware in all units.

Quite annoying issue.

Is it actually causing a problem or are you letting it get to you

He is not crazy and he is doing everything correct.

I have noticed the same issue, and it behaves in exact same way, and Avata 2 seems to have none or very small center displacement.

I did full MC3 calibration and issue persist. I have nothing more to add, because the issue is fully described by @SRT8 Pilot.

I have latest firmware on Neo/Avata2/Goggles3/MC3. And yes - this "drift"  is an annoying issue.

@DJI Support,  kindly please fix it.

P.S.
I started to look at YT videos with Neo+MC3 and issue seems to be common. On every movie i saw if someone want to fly straight then circle is shifted to the left.

Interesting to hear that other than me has this annoying issue. If it didn't actually work well with the Avata 2, my guess would be that it was an issue with the Motion Controller. It feels like the MC3 send some kind of an direction offset.

You can find some review movies on YT, and on every movie when someone is flying straight or is just starting and hovering for a while, you can observe this offset.
I think it should be forwarded to development team to take a look.

You are right - I have noticed that. But on most of the videos it actually seems to behave better. With the direction circle more and less straight over the center cross.

Just flew the Neo with MC3.  IIRC, first time since taking delivery of the Neo in early October.  Similar issue to your off center.  Just not as bad. The + is just slightly off center from the circle.  They overlap, but distinctly not centered. Guessing it is the Neo, nothing to do with the controller.  + and circle are dead center aligned using the MC3 and Avata2.

Unsure but guessing the Neo off center was from day 1.  Just don't remember it.  Or.  I've been flying the Neo manual mode with FVP RC3 and have had a few crashes.  Last one was brutal.  Scuff marks and couple propellers damaged. Maybe crashing has knocked something out of alignment.

or can you go to a DJI store and try theirs ?

I already tried to use different Goggles 3 and Motion Controller 3 in a shop. It made no difference. Also tried my Goggles and Motion controller with another Neo. That made no difference either. So it's really strange.
