I have the goggles 3 and I like them but I do seem to loose some vision at times around the edges. I have seen it suggested that the goggles N3 are a better visual experience than the goggles 3. If anyone has both what do you feel about this comment

also what about colors, black levels and fov because panel difference?

I just bought the goggles N3 via the Neo motion fly more combo and in my view the visual experience of the goggles n3 is better than the goggles 3

I have just had my first flight with the Neo and the Goggles N3. In my view the goggles N3 are very much better than the goggles 3:

They fit my face far better
No messing with Knobs to focus etc
The screen is far bigger
The screen is slightly curved
The edges of the screen are all there
The extra weight really is no issue
There is no light leakage
I generally feel more comfortable using and flying with them

I  just bought the Neo FPV combo as well as the FPV controller 3. The Goggles N3 are great but I’m really disappointed that they aren’t compatible with my Mini 3 Pro like the Goggles 3 are. They both use O4 transmission, I thought the only difference was the Goggles N3 have a single screen, are a bit larger and they don’t have the cameras on the outside. I bought this FPV combo because I thought the Goggles N3 were compatible with the same drones as the Goggles 3. Hopefully DJI can fix this compatibility issue with a firmware update.

Indeed, the DJI Goggles N3 are currently only compatible with the DJI Avata 2 and DJI Neo.

Correct. I think perhaps he meant the mini 4 pro

Yes, the mini 3 pro and mini 4 pro work with Goggles 3 but only with the motion 3 controller. Unfortunately the DJI Goggles N3 are only compatible with the Avata and the Neo.

My mistake, I guess it’s the Goggles Integra and motion controller 2 that work with the mini 3 pro. The Mini 4 Pro works with Goggles 3 though which means there’s no reason it couldn’t work with the Goggles N3 with a firmware update. As there both using Ocusync 4

Would N3 googles be better choice for 7 year old kid due to single screen? Can N3 googles work with O3 Air unit drones(like Mobula 8 with O3 air unit?

This is very important, please make N3 compatible with all O3 and O4 air units.

I totally agree… and would love for this to happen. However, it would decrease the purchasing power of goggles 3

Get real no one cares about line of sight

I have both, and they both have their advantages. The 3 has to be perfect on your face, to get perfect view. The N3 is more forgivable.
The 3 has live view, which I really appreciate, to see what is happening around me. Also nice to wear, because it does not push on my face / nose. Also more compact. But would I pay extra for it? not like double the price. But it was the cheapest option to buy a Avata 2 flymore with 3 batteries ;-)

I have just tested the n3 mask and the o4 lite, the visual rendering is not good, things seem smaller, is it coming from the mask or the camera of the o4 lite? so these are worse than the vista and mask v1

No, I got my son Goggles N3 and while he's fine using them (certainly much better than the old big FPV Goggles V2 he started out with), Goggles 3 fit him a lot better because all the pressure is on the forehead and it's much easier to adjust them + they're a good bit lighter and less slippery. If you can afford Goggles 3 for your kid, definitely either get those, or get N3 for yourself.

I wear Prescription Glasses for Distance (Prescription is -2.0 and also astigmatism) I can adjust this -2.0 in the goggles 3 but not the astigmatism and I see ok but the goggles 3 are just a worse experience for me.

I don't wear and could not fit glasses in the Goggles 3 but you can buy prescription lenses to fit in the goggles.

Now with the Goggles N3 You can not adjust at all but I find I can see far better in those with no glasses. If your glasses are quite small you could fit then in the goggles N3. Or buy a small cheap pair from glasses direct for about £25. I did this for my Meta Quest 3 and they work well with that

Yes. But you might find it is better to just buy the motion fly more combo if it available in your country. Check Amazon
