Just received the OA5 and played around with it for the last couple of days.
Overall very satisfied, however, one thing bothers me:


Sometimes when turning the camera on, we get the message "swipe to unlock screen".
The rear screen usually unlocks after one or two swipes.
But the front screen is VERY difficult to get to unlock. The largest finger (thumb) seems to work the best but only unlocks after maybe 10 or 15 tries. Adding a bit of moisture to the finger seems to help. In fairness it sometimes unlocks after a couple of tries but this is not the norm. (Yes, I have removed protective film from both screens.)


Has anyone else experienced this? and is it normal behaviour?


Also, sometimes the rear screen needs to be unlocked when turning the camera on, but not always. The front screen, however, always seem to be in locked "mode" when turning camera on.


Can anyone throw some light on this?

Hello. You are not alone. I have the same Problem with my A5P !

I found not swiping from the bottom but rather 15-20% from the edge completely alleviates this problem.

I think you are spot on there. Thank you thank you.
I was being careful to swipe from the very bottom to get the most complete swipe, but how wrong was I.
