Hello DJI!

I recognised a problem with one of my probs.
The soft orrange tip of one prop is getting loose!
Absolutely no damage durings flights, so it looks like a product fault,
not enough glued together.
I will change the props for safety-reasons, but this is unacceptable!

The propellor tips always go like this unfortunately. It is always advisable to have a plentiful supply of props for this reason. It is the tips that give the propellors their 'low noise' characteristic. They are a very dissimilar material to the rest of the propellor and bonding the tips cannot be easy. You could of course try to apply some adhesive to refix the tips. Be careful how much adhesive you apply though as too much could adversely affect the balance and then they will cavitate like crazy.

Return them or request warranty and have them send a replacement. I haven’t seen this on any of my props.

Possible cause will be inserting & removal of the drone from the bag I am purposely removing the props post flight & refitting pre flight for this reason but it’s a good reminder to check them pre flight. Not sure why DJI didn’t supply with a prop capture clip like the mini 4 came with floppy props & the bag don’t mix really.  A drone sock may help.

Overkill but ever since I have had drones I store and transport the unfolded drone in a padded foam case with cutouts manually done to fit the drone. Not having to open and close every time (less wear and tear and chance of bending some thing you shouldn't)  I used to be able to get everything in one case but now I'm moving up to the Air3s I might need a separate case for the Air3s and small case for all the bits and controller. Is fine as most of my droning is done from boot of a car.  Occasionally it gets packed up if going in the pack.  Hope you get sorted

Hi there,

Thank you for your patience. We have check with the relevant team on this issue. It is held together with glue. As flying time increases, there is a possibility that it will separate, and the propeller is a consumable. Please check you DM, we have requested few details to assist further on this issue.

We are looking forward to your response for further assistance. Thank You
