Is the DJI Neo really loud?

Louder than their Camera drones but I honestly dont think it is that bad. You know how to find out for yourself

The noise levels for the DJI Neo while hovering are measured with and without propeller guards.

Hovering without propeller guards: 79.7-79.9 dB

Hovering with propeller guards: 81.6-82 dB

Yes. It has a very loud, annoying high pitched squeal. We got one and it's a bummer. It could still be fun somewhere by yourself. But, anywhere with people is a problem.

There is a Toroidal properrel design on thingivers that reduced the loudness of neo by ten (from 99db to 89db or something like that). I really is way quiter, I use that for quick vanity shots when battery time is not issue, but I dont want to annoy other tourists
