I don't understand why this has to be such a nosebleed process with the Avata 2.  I import the license with Goggles 3 connected to Android smartphone and make the first flight. I have to repeat this for every new flight, every battery change, and each time it shows the license already imported to aircraft, but without going through this pointless extra effort, all I get is "Authorization Zone - unable to take off." This process is trivial in normal drones like Mavic, Air and Mini series.

It is doubly aggravating for me as I have corrective lenses for goggles so putting them on, taking them off repeatedly and having to swap for my regular glasses is a serious aggravation and makes me not want to use this drone. As if that's not quite enough, it's TRIPLY aggravating that this is all because DJI Geofences areas that are CLEAR TO FLY per all FAA resources.

I can deal with all of the unnecessary BS if DJI would just let me load the license ONCE and conduct my multi-flight same-day, same-aircraft operation without having to RELOAD the same license over and over and over again. There's no excuse for this and makes the Avata 2 almost unusable in a commercial scenario that requires a fly-safe license for some inexplicable reason.

Hi there,

Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing. This is normal. To ensure flight safety, it is necessary to re-import the unlocking license when powering on the aircraft each time.

Each time the aircraft restarts, the flight controller will request the you to verify their DJI account (the unlocking license is bound to the DJI account and flight controller serial number). In this case, if no mobile app is connected, your verification will fail and the unlocking will not take effect, even if it is enabled with the unlocking license. This is why the unlocking license must be re-imported when powering on the aircraft each time.

Thus, to use the unlocking function after restarting the aircraft, please connect to the mobile app first and make sure that the DJI account logged in to the app is the same as the account bound to the unlocking license. Make sure that unlocking is successful before disconnecting from the mobile app.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!
