I knew the Canadian prices were more, but wow I could buy another Inspire 1 for that price.

Sure the M4/3 sensor and lens options are nice, but the same frame rates, resolutions and compression as the X3, it makes it really hard to justify the upgrade.

DJI is charging about $2000 too much for the X5 (at least at Canadian pricing). Based on the published specs, X5 is worth about $1000 CAD.

$3000 for a complete M4/3 system shooting overcompressed 8-bit 4k at 60Mbps? Yikes.

Based on the "straight from the camera" stuff they've posted for the X5 I can't see how they can justify the pricing.

I think the X5R is probably going to be worth a look given it's specs, but I think the X5 is probably a non-starter for most people really looking at what they're getting (factoring in the cost).

I agree for this price I would expect 100 Mbps and 4K 50p. I will wait for this.
