I start the drone in Cine mode (RC-N1 switch in the position Cine) but the software shows Normal mode and the drone flies in normal mode. I have to switch Cine -> Normal, Normal - Cine. Bug or feature?

That's a standard feature.

yes. you need just keep in mind that drone starts every time in normal mode. doesn't matter how it was switch off previously

I think this is a good safety measure.
Especially when it happens to be in S mode.

The solution seems simple:
[default] - always start in normal mode.
[advanced] - I'm an adult. Hey DJI, let me choose the launch mode.

No sense going from mode A to mode B to set mode A again (I'm not used to customers being treated like fools). EOT, I think :-)

It's either something they have not programmed (forgotten to implement) or a feature they implemented based on analysis of previous crashes.
In this case I think it's the first, but I don't mind.
There are more important things in life than flipping a switch if I want to be in sports mode.

Been like that forever... its a liability thing
