I was using my drone. It does look close but I was actually about almost a kilometre away. But also because my drone is sub 250g it is allowed within the 5km radius and the airport is not a controlled airport.

Yeah, I guess that, in your huge country, there's less anxiety around drone flying in wide-open spaces.

UK. Look on the info panel to the left of screen - each participant's location is usually indicated below their Avatar. Yours shows Australia.

Intersting location for a runway.  Nicely filmed.  It appears that when you take off you better gain altitude quickly or you're going into the water at the end of the runway.

Scroll to the very bottom of the page on the forum and there is a grey box that includes the text PC Version,   that gets you back to the desktop version and then the standard buttons will be available.

I've seen it happen where a plane can't get the speed up enough to take off and it's too late to abort and goes into the water at the end of the runway.  Not a pretty sight at all. Lots of unhappy passengers wheen that happens.
