I'm new to this so please bear with me.


I have a m30 with the RC Plus controller which has 64Gb of internal storage I believe.  The majority of which is used taken up by system files etc.
I have a 128Gb in the drone and another 128Gb in the controller but when I try to transfer files to the controller it seems to want to use the internal storage and not the 128Gb microSD card.  I get the standard insufficient storage error message.

Is there a way of resolving this like changing the controllers default storage location?

According to this thread https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... 376&pid=3046058 you can't transfer to the RC Plus SD from the drone in one hop, as there is no way to change the storage address for this operation. You'll have to transfer as many files at a time to the internal RC storage, and then to the SD card. Or, just use a card reader on a PC or Mac to copy the files from one SD card to the other.

It confirms what I suspected and I agree.  It seems the best method is to pull the microsd and use a card reader on pc or tablet.
