Hello,

Quick question, will the RTH option work if i am in Atti mode?

I have been doing some research and there seem to be some conflicting answers.

I am afraid that my inspire would some day loose connection or flyaway and not RTH as I was in ATTI.

So am I still safe with RTH if I were to be in Atti mode everytime?

Thanks

Adding onto DJI Dave, yes it will work and providing you have set the RTH height correctly prior to take off then a useful tool in the box, especially if you have lost sight of the machine or not totally happy with its orientation to yourself. Obviously
such situations should be avoided at all costs but if it does at least you have a possible 'get out of jail' card and one that is better than nothing!

Great question Yunior,

to take it one step further, I have taken off in atti mode from inside a building. No GPS is available and theoretically, no home point can be recorded. What happens if rc signal loss occurs during this type of scenario?

The only time it will not work in ATTI is if you are in ATTI do to a Compass error. The craft can not navigate when you are having compass errors. Under any other scenario it will RTH..

Remember you have to have GPS lock as well even if flying in ATTI mode.
