This winter when sitting down for your Christmas Diner in Ireland those carrots will be grown by Gilpin Farms.

Gilpin Farms with the Dewulf RA3060 lifting rows of carrots which have been fresh topped with the New Holland T6080 with the Baseiler Topper on the front and Jones Carrot topper on the rear.

As the Dewulf RA3060 lifts the carrots you can see that the soil sieves through the webs and the carrots are deposited into the bunker. The harvester carries these to the headland reducing compaction from trailers on the field. On the headland there are 3 18 tonne trailers loaded ready for the washline back on the home farm.

Wow, what an absolutely amazing process.    The topdown footage around 2:05 really gives you the insight into everything that is being done at once.  I had no idea they were able to harvest that amount of carrots in such a short period of time.  Super impressive job on this video.

No wasted effort anywhere in that complex harvest process.  Keep up the great work and I hope your week starts off great.

Can it do other root crops like parsnips?  Or is it specifically just for carrots?

yea not too bad so far now...

Maybe the storms will give you a break for a while.  I guess you could always hope for a short winter or that Spring weather comes earlier than usual.

I think parnsips yes but that is a dying crop
