2 Claas Dominators 76 working in spring Barley overlooking the North Coast of Ireland

With one machine in her 41st harvest and one in her 40th harvest is unbelievable time

Both Claas Dominators cutting spring barley at Ian McConaghy & Son

Working 10ft at a time leaving straw very workable in the wetter environment on the North Coast of ireland.

Over the 81 harvests between them how many tonnes do you think?

No idea how large the farm is but if I had to guess I'd say around 5.5 - 6 tonnes per hectare (t/ha).  So depending on the size of the field and 81 harvests that has to be  a massive amount of tonnage. More than my brain can calculate I'm sure.    Great job on the video and I really enjoyed watching.

Yea i wish she had a counter to know exactly what she was over the years...

and due to the ages I wanted a little vintage touch

If theres an engine hour counter on there you could probably work out a rough estimate.  

Whatever the total tonnage, those machines have earned their keep. Nice filter on the video.

No i had a good friday just got a upper nasal infection

Winter weather has a habit of bringing on colds and URIs.  I had my anual Flu shot 3 weeks back but even with that shot it's no guarantee I will still not get a new strain of the Flu.  Anyway, I just try to stay as healthy as possible and hope my body can fight off any colds, etc I get.

I don't go to Disney World up in Orlando but I've seen pictures of it recently where many attendees are still wearing masks and some even sterile gloves.  With over 159,000 visitors per day across all its parks it would be easy to quickly spread or share germs.

You nailed it!  I saw the below sign and had to get it.  I also have a coffee cup with that same saying on it.
