It was trying,  although so was the wind as we walked back,   we started with flat calm seas and by the time we got back it was fairly choppy.

At least you didn't have 12 meter tall waves pounding the beach.

There would have been some serious issues if 12 ft waves had hit along that shore.

No doubt about it.  It would have been almost like being hit by a tsunami resulting in massive damages.

The section we were walking has either no sea wall or 3ft of sea wall and the area that has none is about 2 metres from the railway line.

Yikes, that would have wiped out the rail line completely then.

Funny, I just found my first CD (home made, not printed) that I made with a friend.
We had a good laugh about the music and I'm going to do some minor tweaks and put it on Spotify. Just for fun.
This was made in 1999-2002, so yeah, approaching 30 years.
