Will switching off ground sensor result in longer flight times?
Does it send signal all the time if its switched on and consume power?
Is there anything unsafe disabling the ground sensor unless flying indoors?
I would like if the ground sensor would enforce a set minimum over ground level like telling it not go unter 2m over ground. and whenever the sensors detect 2m they hold this level. As Far as I know its not doing this now it lets you crash into the ground if there comes a hill.
The VPS system uses very little power. If switched on you will see when it is active, normally below 2.5m. You can turn it off if you do not need the feature and many do. You can not set a minimum altitude with the VPS.
