Thankfully Rand Paul reminded Congress yesterday the FAA has all the tools and authority needed to identify and track the “mystery drones”, so no reactionary legislation is needed from Congress beyond existing federal aviation airspace laws.

I heard that little sound bite this morning.    The way it's blowing out of all proportion is quite funny from some looking in from the outside,   worse than when drones shutdown major airport here even without any proof of them.

With all the convenient and effective tools available to recreational and commercial drone pilots to identify airspace classification and current restrictions, I’m disappointed when I read accounts of the reported controlled and restricted airspace incursions. I prefer only to fly in Class G airspace and am thankful to live in an area of the country where Class G airspace is widely available to meet my flying wants and needs.
