There was one cpu model above this one that added a couple more cores,   but I didnt feel the need to go for it.,    the integration though is very good,.   any app alert that appears on my phone it also now pops up briefly on the Mac,  and if I wanted to I can remote control my phone too.

It's amazing at what a closed-source or proprietary system can do.

The integration is great,  and with the new machine more reliable I would say,  and of course that really locks you in,    although Im not sure where Id get this much power and 24 hours of battery life.

You'd never get 24 hours out of anything running Windows.

Its lovely as I really dont feel the need to take a charger with me now,   even if Im going to be doing a lot of processing like video rendering or Gyroflow which does still hit the battery hard Ive got a good 5-7 hours or more of that.

That's great as that is one less thing you have to carry with you - unless you need it for your chargeable gloves.
