I was watching Mad Techs live stream and he's convinced the "lite" version will not ship as a bare board like in the leaks as it would be a warranty nightmare for DJI.

Its a bummer they changed the camera mount,   its going to delay finding a good BNF to put on in.

Ive been recommended the Pavo 20 Pro over on reddit but I dont think I want another whoop with all the issues Ive had with whoops and the wind in the past.

I prefer whoops over freestyle 5 inch ones because I don't have too much experience on FPV at this moment

As the camera has changed the mounts its very hard to choose yet,   all the current O3 drones wouldn't be able to take the O4 camera yet,    I have my eye on the Flywoo Explorer L4,  partly for the value for money,  it'd £140 without the camera,  and they have all the parts at sensible prices.

Most are cheap though,   a pair of batteries is £28,   a new frame around £30.

Yeah, I think is better to wait at least one or two months to see how the different brands addapt their models to these new O4 versions.

Hopefully that will also give them time to sort out Betaflight 4.6 as well.

It shows the O4 pro having two antennas, whereas the O3 has 1 Linear Polarized antenna. Wonder what they will do? If the antennas are rhcp, then they will loose their marvelous range they strive so hard for since the goggles 2 and integra have LP antennas.

The Dji O3 air unit has always had 2x U.fl connectors that can take 2x Left hand circular polarized (LHCP) 5.8Ghz/2.4Ghz antennas - Not linear, unless you install a linear antenna yourself. The stock DJI antenna combines the 2 U.Fl connections into one dual band LHCP antenna

Perhaps they wont offer care refresh on the bare board.    And a shield would cost almost nothing in price and weight.

I think the Air Unit 3 never had the care refresh option, but with the Air Unit 4 it could be possible. Let's see what happens next week.
