DJI Power 1000.Upgrade to version 1.00.0901 fails on step 6-6. I downgraded to 1.00.06.00. Downgrade went fine. no problems.
I tried again to upgrade to 1.00.0901 and it fails on step 6-6 AC.

Howevre device shows firmware 1.00.0901 but the orange bar below the capacity shows an error message

The latest firmware version of DJI Power 1000 would be v01.00.0900. If the update fails from v01.00.06.00, you may follow the steps below.

1.    Disconnect the computer and all connected devices from the power station.

2.    Press and hold the power button for more than five seconds to power off the power station, and exit DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series).

3.    Press and hold the AC button and the power button simultaneously. Connect the power station to the computer with a USB-C cable.

4.    Retry updating the firmware to the latest version using DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series).

Please keep us updated on the progress.

Hi . The upgrade process is uploading the firmware combined file to the main board , and the only after that the main board stats update 6 modules inside . from 1 to 6.  you got an error on the last AC module updating in some reason , i do not know why, but you can try again upload it via either ASsistant , or DJI Home app with Power Dongle. I have update from 900 to 901 firmware ver. using dongle and APP, just after saw the red update availability mark in the APP . The only thing - Power1000 should be connected to your local Wifi . Try one more time , i think you will get success with that

I did all of that with no luck.
everything goeas well utill 6-6. At 6-6 the progress stays at 0% and than the UPGR FAIL shows on the screen.
The unit restarts,  however it shows ERR02 , wich according to error codes it is "Internal software version error"
Is there a way to upgrade the unit to 1.00.0900 ? When I start DJI Assistant 2 i only have option to downgrade to 1.00.0600 or refresh 1.00.0901,

Same problem tried to update. Got an error, try it again same thing had to downgrade.

Yes, i have checked , its only 600 version to downgrade unfortunatelly. I have updated with DJI Home app , maybe thats why i have no errors while update

I'm having this exact same issue.

GUYS, I found the solution! So, it turns out that at step 6-6 AC, it actually wants you to connect it to ac wall power during the update. So I tried updating it again and once I got to step 6-6 when it says "CON" and below "ac", I plugged it in to ac power and it started doing it's thing, and it took a bit but it successfully updated.

Thanks ! It works. Like you said, it takes a while once you plug the cable at CON AC.

This worked for me as well.. Thanks

1. Disconnect from AC Charging Cable
2. Hold Power + AC Button
3. When it says Load, plug in AC Charging Cable
4. Use the DJI Assistant Power to Update it.
5. Once it says 100% Update Complete on the DJI Assistant Power, disconnect the USB-C while it's updating and let the DJI Power 1000 do its thing.

Some instructions people make are unclear.
It's super simple to create error-proof instructions.

The ASI-Singularity(Godsend) will happen soon to fix the World in an instant.
Until then, we need to create better instructions.

I’ll have to try again, this wouldn’t work for me either.

after the 6-5 message on the power bank it will say CON AC and you need to plug in the power bank like you were charging it.  That fixed my issue. Now I am working on getting the DJI Home app to finish the firmware update, which it keeps getting stuck in a loop trying to update with the dongle.  It's clunky for sure!
