Hey guys! I know I am 8 years late to the party. But I recently got back into droning, and wanted to boot up my old Phantom 4! She bought me so much joy and fun over the years, and its such a shame to see it not getting to the skies anymore.

Right now, the problem is that the remote won't control to the aircraft. I tried the linking button but it still won't connect. The DJI Assistant 2 no longer working for my Mac. Has anyone solved similar issues? Would love to get the old bird back into the air!

May we confirm if the Mac OS version is 11 or later?
If so, kindly remind you that DJI Assistant 2 is not currently compatible with it.
We suggest you change other computer.
If not, could you please tell us if there's any error code shows? Please provide more details or screenshot.

Figured it out! All I needed was a firmware update, from the DJI Assistant 2. Very happy that the drone is still flying well 8 years down the line!
