It's too restrictive here sadly, we still have to have a spotter and be 150m away from people, structures, vehicles, parks, beaches etc. So the Avata is the better choice in the fields where we can fly.
In Poland we have not. You can fly drone freely if weight is <249 grams. No restriction here. New actual law gives obligatory insurance for flyers with is good of course. I.e. broken window = no problem. ;-) Law give extra restrictions about some public areas, mass events and so on, but if you fly behind 120 meters and weight is less than 249g no problems with regulations. Flying near buildings, near people, on beach, public places …you can without extra permissions and extra limits.
So with Neo you can fly like you want and no one can't accuse you of breaking the law. We have license for amateurs but for C1 and up. So If you have only and no more than Neo, you have a toy in Poland but this toy can fly like bigger and more advanced drones (but no more than 2-3km like you said in review). Very good for practice and for beginners. DJI do it in right direction imo - not only near filed control but more pro methods also here, and you enjoy. Of course, common sense is important… I fly near 3 airfields in my region (but some kilometers to NFZ, for sure), one of them is military base and I'm extra caution. Some, especially military helicopters, fly near 150 m limit and you have to remember that. DJI and different producers could integrate life air traffic info to theirs controls software. It will be good for security reasons. |
